World Pickleball Foundation is committed to making our website accessible to people of all abilities. We believe the court should belong to everyone, and that belief extends to how people experience our website. Accessibility is an ongoing priority for our organization, and we are actively working to improve our digital experience.

1. OUR COMMITMENT

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, which provide internationally recognized standards for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities. As a newly launched nonprofit, we recognize that our website is a work in progress, and we are committed to identifying and addressing accessibility barriers as we grow.

2. CURRENT STATUS

This website was recently launched, and we are in the early stages of our accessibility journey. We acknowledge that the site does not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. We are taking active steps to assess and improve accessibility, including reviewing pages for compliance, prioritizing critical fixes, and seeking guidance from accessibility resources.

3. ONGOING IMPROVEMENTS

We are actively working on the following accessibility improvements:

Reviewing and adding descriptive text for images where applicable.
Improving color contrast across the site to support readability.
Ensuring forms include proper labels and instructions.
Structuring content with clear headings and a logical reading order.
Testing the site with keyboard-only navigation.
Reviewing compatibility with screen readers and other assistive technologies.

This list is not exhaustive, and we expect to address additional items as we continue our review.
